Product Updates

This release introduces powerful new content creation automation as well as a new way to tell stories using paging.
Create mobile-first guided content with paging
You can now structure long-form content into clear, swipe-friendly pages—then publish it across your mobile app and web. In Admin, you can create paged Guides, devotionals, and study plans with simple page breaks, making it easier to organize messages, next steps, and reflection prompts without overwhelming readers.

On mobile, people get a smooth, continuous reading experience with visible page breaks, a stepped progress indicator to see how far they’ve come, and a table of contents to jump straight to a section. It’s perfect for a weekly devotional, a multi-part sermon follow-up, or a step-by-step discipleship pathway—helping congregants engage a little each day.
On the web, paged content displays in a clean, vertically scrolling layout that scales beautifully to desktop, so your community can read and reflect wherever they are. And because paging controls are now available in Admin, your team can build, edit, and publish paged content without workarounds—streamlining preparation and keeping your congregation focused on what matters.
Beta Testing Plans and Guides AI: Create Guides and Multi-Day Plans with Built-In Engagement
You can now create paged Guides and multi-day Plans with AI—so daily readings, group curriculum, and sermon companion guides take minutes instead of hours.
Start with a clear outline you can edit, then generate content that’s right-sized for mobile and includes built-in engagement like Scripture references, reflection questions, and polls.
Guides

Guides are great for creating a paged content experience. Use them for Sermon Guides, Interactive Notes, Group Discussion Guides, or individual devotionals.
Plans

Plans allow you to automate a series of guides. Use plans to generate daily reading content and automate a daily content experience. Or, you can create evergreen plans such as a Self Paced Reading Plan, Group/Class Curriculum or Devotional.
Attach a sermon video, notes, or documents to guide the AI, select your content collection, and watch the content build in real time. Plans generate behind the scenes, then appear in your chosen collection for final review and publishing.
Creator History and Custom Prompting

You can also now access your Creator history as well as set custom prompt instructions. Use this to fine-tune the way AI generates content for your instance. You can provide multiple system prompts and toggle on/off different prompts to be used when creating content.
Highlights:
Create Daily or Evergreen Plans in batches with auto‑scheduled dates
Edit outlines before generation for both Guides and Plans
Paged Guides optimized for mobile engagement
Includes interactive blocks such as scripture, questions, and polls automatically
Background generation with email notifications
Add videos, images, or documents to inform the content
Publish to any collection you choose
Available now in Admin (web) by toggling on the beta feature when choosing "Create with AI".

We're excited to unveil one of our largest ever updates to prayer within Apollos. New features on the mobile app allow you to track and celebrate your prayers with ease. Plus, you can now engage with connections through Unprompted Prayer, deepening your community connections.
My Prayers Screen
You can now keep track of your prayers in one place on the mobile app. The new My Prayers screen shows all your active prayers at a glance. Tap any prayer to open its individual view, mark it as answered, or delete old prayers.

Mark prayers as answered, add notes, and notify your prayer circle
You can now mark prayers as answered in the mobile app—closing the loop and celebrating how God moves in your life and community.
From your Prayer List or any prayer detail, mark a prayer as answered and add an optional note about how God answered. People who prayed with you get a notification and can read your story, making it easy for your church to celebrate together.
Answered prayers no longer show in your active prayer flow or prayer widget, but you can revisit them anytime in a new Answered section on your community profile. This keeps your daily prayer time focused while preserving testimonies for encouragement and reflection.
To help you keep things current, you’ll receive a gentle reminder seven days after creating a prayer to check if it’s been answered.
Unprompted Prayer to Re-engage Followers

You can now pray for someone you follow—even if they haven’t posted a prayer request recently—and gently let them know you’re thinking of them. From your regular prayer flow in the mobile app, you’ll see opportunities to send an unprompted prayer. When you do, they receive a push notification that says you prayed for them, inviting them back into community.
Here’s how it works:
- During your prayer time, the app will periodically suggest an inactive follower you can pray for.
- The person you prayed for gets a notification, helping them re-engage with your church’s app.
Use it to check in on a small group member who’s been quiet, encourage a student between semesters, or let a friend know they’re on your heart. It’s a simple way to foster everyday spiritual growth and bring people back into the rhythm of prayer and community.
Respond to Prayer Requests

Sometimes simply letting someone know that you are praying for them is not an adequate response to their need. With building community at the heart of Apollos, we wanted to provide a way for people to be ministered to directly.
Now, you can tap to respond directly to a prayer request via chat message, enabling ministry, and helping encourage community.

The Question Block just got an upgrade. You can now tap to respond directly to short answer questions in content, right from the app.

Share your answer, see how others respond, and spark conversation.
Perfect for devotionals, discussion starters, or small group prompts—short answers bring community and reflection into every tap.
This feature is live for all Question Blocks created from Apollos CMS. Available for Apollos Mobile, coming soon to Apollos Web.

At Apollos, we’re all about helping you engage your communities with meaningful content-driven experiences. This latest round of updates brings smoother media experiences, better community engagement tools, and improved performance across the board. Here’s what’s new:
An all-new Media Player

We've rebuilt our video player from the ground-up. Videos autoplay and resize automatically to match your content—vertical, square, landscape, no problem.

With Continue Watching, users can pick up right where they left off—no scrubbing or searching needed.
Audio

Audio content now automatically displays with a sleek new player. It is compatible with both native Apollos content and content integrations such as Rock and Wordpress synced content. And yes—more audio features are on the way.
Responses

We’ve completely redesigned the responses experience. It’s now easier than ever to reply, react, and reflect—right inside your app. We’ve also removed the divide between scripture and content responses—everything lives in one place, for a more natural and community-driven conversation flow.
Share Sheet
We’ve introduced a brand new share sheet, giving you more ways to get the word out.

Share directly into Apollos Chat—send content straight to your small group or community.

Psst…in Daily Habits you can also share prayer requests and send a message to the person you're praying for!
Updates to Tabs and Feeds
Feeds now load faster than ever. We’ve also added better support for different image sizes and aspect ratios. Lastly, fonts and colors have been fine-tuned for greater accessibility and readability.
These updates are rolling out today and should be live across all apps soon. We’re excited to continue refining the experience and bringing even more tools to help your church thrive.
Stay tuned—more is on the way.
