Paul’s journey shows us that suffering doesn’t stop the Gospel—through every trial, storm, and hardship, he remained faithful, using each moment to glorify God. Even in our toughest times, Jesus is with us, and the Gospel is our greatest hope!
How do you typically respond to suffering—do you retreat, complain, or seek God's purpose in it?
Share a story of a time where suffering challenged or strengthened your faith in the past. What would it look like for you to suffer well—with hope, purpose, and faith like Paul? If suffering strengthens our faith and pulls us closer to Jesus, why do you think we tend to be so afraid of it?
How does the hope of the gospel encourage you when you’re in seasons of waiting, loss, or struggle? How does it make your experience of suffering look different than someone without that hope?
Share what spiritual practices anchor you when you’re emotionally or physically worn down? Which one would you like to build more into your daily routines in this season?
Is there a specific area in your life where fear of pain or discomfort is keeping you from full obedience to God? How can your group be a supportive part of your growth journey?
