Discussion Questions

What is a situation in your life that makes you feel “imprisoned” like Peter?

What “chains” might God be wanting to break in your life right now—whether emotional, spiritual, or relational?  Is there a stronghold where the enemy has you especially stuck and needing prayer?

Have you ever given up praying for something because it seemed impossible? How do you feel about that situation as you reflect on the answered prayers regarding Peter’s imprisonment?

How can we become more like the early church in Acts—faithful to pray and intercede for others even when answers seem far away?

Why are we often quick to limit our prayers based on what we think is realistic instead of what God is capable of?  Share a story of a time when God showed up for you in an impossible situation.

What is one area where you need to trust God more deeply, even if you can't see the immediate outcome?
