Living generously is not about giving away everything we have but about cultivating a heart that sees needs and responds in faith. When we surrender our fears and trust in God’s provision, we begin to reflect the early church—one where generosity was not just a duty but a joyful response to God’s grace.

Discussion Questions

What stands out to you most in Acts 4:32–37 about the early church's approach to possessions and generosity?

What fears come up for you when you think about living generously?

How does our culture shape your attitude toward money and possessions?

Share a story about a time when you took a step in generosity.  How did you experience God throughout taking the step, and afterwards?  

How can generosity go beyond just giving money? What are other ways we can be radically generous?

What might it look like today to share “everything in common” as the early church did?  Is there something that God is prompting you to share with your community?
