Paul’s dramatic transformation from persecutor to preacher shows that no one is beyond redemption, and like him, we’re called by name to be part of God’s mission. With faith, we can step forward and embrace God’s purpose for us, knowing He can use anyone for His glory!
In what ways can you identify with Paul’s story of being radically transformed by an encounter with Jesus? Share a story of a time when you felt “blinded and humbled” by God to reveal a greater purpose for your life?
If Jesus were to meet you on “your road to Damascus,” what would He call you away from—and what would He send you toward?
Do I truly believe that my transformation in Christ includes a commissioning—to be sent out with purpose? How are you responding to God’s personal call to you by name?
What fears or insecurities might be holding you back from fully stepping into the mission God has for you?
Are there parts of your past that you struggle to believe God can redeem and use for His mission?
Are you actively looking for opportunities to welcome others into the family of God, even those who seem unlikely? In what ways can you be intentional in those conversations?
What might Jesus be commissioning you to do in your community? How can you live it out this week?
