Built To Last Wk 5 | The Best is Yet to Come – A Life That Remains Faithful

Welcome and Connection:

  • Have everyone share one highlight and challenge from this past week.

Look back

  • Commitment weekend has come and gone! What do you want to celebrate from this past weekend that God has done in you during this series?

Main Point

God’s work is never fully "finished"—we must keep growing and pursuing Him.

Opening Question

  • What's one long-term commitment you've made (personal, professional, or spiritual) that you're proud of maintaining?

Scripture

Nehemiah 13:4-31

Reflection

  • Can you identify any areas in your life where you might have "drifted" from commitments to God, and what steps can you take to return to faithfulness?

  • Thinking about "the best is yet to come," what are you most excited about for the future of our church as we complete this building project and continue to pursue God's ongoing work?

  • What does it mean to you that "God's work is never fully 'finished'" in your life? How does this perspective influence your daily walk with Him?

  • As we conclude this Built To Last Series, what specific practices or habits can you commit to individually and as a group to ensure continued growth and pursuit of God in the months and years ahead?

  • How can we, as a Life Group, support and encourage one another to stay committed to our spiritual growth and to the mission of our church, even when the initial excitement might fade?

Application & Prayer

  • As we come to the end of our series, we want to celebrate together what God is doing in our lives and the lives of every individual in our church! What can we do together as a Life Group to celebrate what God has done? Dinner, bonfire, maybe some cake? Let’s plan something fun to praise God for how He has and will continue to work in our lives! Let’s end our time together praising God in prayer for what He has done in our lives.

Reminder

Celebration Weekend will be on December 4 + 7. This is where we will celebrate how God has moved in our hearts and how He has specifically called everyone in our church to play a role in building God’s kingdom.
