Have everyone share one highlight and challenge from this past week.
From last week’s conversation, how did you face your obstacles and challenges toward your faith this past week?
God’s unfinished work includes transforming our hearts to be generous and just.
What's one thing, big or small, that someone has generously given to you that made a significant impact?
Nehemiah 5:1-19
In what areas of your life might God be inviting you to move from self-interest to a more generous, servant-hearted approach?
When you think about being generous, what do you think of? Where does your mindset of generosity come from?
If God were to challenge you to be generous, what temptations or hesitations come up in your heart?
How can our collective generosity as a church, through this Unfinished Initiative and beyond, demonstrate God's heart for our community? What role do you feel like God is asking you personally to play?
In the Unfinished Initiative, do you feel God’s invitation for you to 1) start a new commitment, 2) finish strong with your current commitment, or 3) increase your current commitment? And whatever the invitation is, what do you think God is trying to teach you?
After our conversation, what temptations or hesitations is God wanting to transform in your heart to help you be generous, and what do you think He is calling you to do? Write these down so you can follow up next week. End your time praying for God to transform your hearts away from temptation and hesitation to generosity and confidence.
