Christ in All of Scripture, Vol. 2

Women's Class

Then he said to them, "These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, that everything written about me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.” Then he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures.
Luke 24:44–45

Have you ever heard that all of Scripture points to Christ? Do you know what that means, really?

If you’re like many Christians, you likely spend far more time reading the New Testament than the Old Testament.

If you feel sometimes like the Old Testament is intimidating, you’re not alone.

But both Old and New Testaments tell one story, and they are far more connected than we often realize. That story begins in the Old Testament, and it contains numerous threads that run throughout and find their resolution in the New Testament.

This means you can’t fully appreciate the New Testament without also appreciating the Old, or the Old without the New.

And there at the center of this one story that unites both testaments is Jesus Christ.

He Himself is the main character and climax of the story begun in the Old Testament. For that reason, we can appropriately say that Jesus Christ is present in all of Scripture, not just the third of it we call the New Testament.

he entire Bible is about Jesus, and when you see it for yourself, it will transform your understanding of not only God and His Word but also the work of His Son, Jesus Christ.

Christ in All of Scripture: A Journey of Discovering Jesus on Every Page of the Bible Volume 2 will:

  • Equip you to see how all Scripture points to and ultimately finds its fulfillment in Jesus Christ.

  • Show you how the Old and New Testaments connect to each other.

  • Encourage you to make Biblical connections and applications that are Christ–centered.

  • Help you apply Scripture to your life in a life-giving, Christ-centered way.
