• Was there a time when an organization/company broke your trust? How have you
  responded?

📖 Read:

• Luke 6:43-45
• Luke 23:33-43

❓Ask: 

• What do a person’s words reveal to you about their character? Share a time someone’s words revealed their true character to you.
• In the sermon, Pastor Mandy discusses how Jesus teaches that "what you say flows from  what is in your heart."
  • How do you think this principle applies to our conversations and interactions with others?
  • Think about your recent conversations (in person/digital) - what do they reveal about your character?
• Even in His most painful moment, Jesus used His words to forgive His executioners and welcome a criminal into paradise. What do Jesus's final words on the cross ("Father, forgive them, for they don't know what they are doing") reveal about God's character and His heart toward humanity?
• How have you witnessed (or spoken) words of forgiveness toward another?
• Is there someone who broke your trust who you need to forgive?
  • What words might you say to them to that end?
  • What step will you take this week toward expressing forgiveness toward them?
