🗣️ WK 4: On Earth As It Is In Heaven

😄 Warm Up

  • If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
  • Share about a place that feels especially sacred or special to you.

📖 Read:

  • Isaiah 35:1-10
  • Jeremiah 29:5-7

❓Ask:

  • In these verses in Isaiah, what promises does God make about the restoration of both people and places? How does this passage reveal God's heart for physical and spiritual renewal?
  • The sermon outlines three pathways for cultivating thin places: dedication, activation, and restoration. These three steps involve dedicating places to God through prayer,
activating our faith in those places, and participating in their restoration. Which of these steps seem most challenging to you, and why?
  • Jesus didn't teach us to pray to be removed from difficult places, but rather to pray for God's kingdom to come to those places. What place in your life do you wish you could escape from, and how might God be calling you to pray for its transformation instead?
  • What place in your city do you tend to view as "unsacred," and how might God be calling you to see it differently?
  • What do you sense God asking you to do with this message?

🙏Prayer:

Share pray requests and pray:

  • Ask God to reveal how we can dedicate our spaces and places to His purpose.
  • Pray for guidance in activating our faith within our communities and workplaces.
  • Request courage and strength to step into difficult or broken situations with the intention of restoration.
